Yukon Department of Justice – Sexualized Assault Response Team (SART) – Yukon

Provides immediate, confidential emotional support and information to people of any gender who have been sexually assaulted. Services include crisis support, testing for sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy, collection of forensic samples up to 72 hours after an assault (with consent), priority access to free counselling, support navigating the legal system, and accompaniment to hospital, medical, and/or police services as requested by the survivor. SART service can be arranged 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Reporting to the RCMP is optional; third-party reporting is available for those who prefer to remain anonymous.
