Using Your Support

You’ll schedule sessions directly with your provider. Most people meet virtually, but in-person sessions may be available if that’s what you want.

The number of sessions or total coverage depends on the type of service and your needs. Your provider can explain what’s included and help you plan how to use it.

Everything you share stays between you and your provider. We never receive your session notes or private details.

Additional Recovery Costs

Sometimes getting professional support involves more than counselling, legal advice, or career coaching.

If you realize you need something else to make things easier — such as transportation, a wellness app, or short-term household help — you can request coverage for those costs.

This program is broad. We can pay for many different kinds of practical supports, such as:

  • Temporary childcare or dependent care so you can attend appointments
  • A sleep or relaxation app to help manage insomnia
  • Career or skills assessments to guide next steps
  • Meal delivery or grocery services during high-stress periods
  • Ergonomic equipment to make working from home easier
  • Other reasonable costs related to your situation

Switching Providers

If the provider you’re working with isn’t the right fit, you can change at any time — no reason or approval required.

Just call the program line and ask to be matched with someone new. We’ll handle the transition and confirm once the change is complete.

You can also switch the type of service you’re using — for example, add career coaching after counselling or start legal advice at any time.

If Something Goes Wrong

If an issue comes up, you can try to resolve it directly with your provider or contact us.

Call the program line at 1-800-999-9999.

We take all concerns seriously and will work with you to resolve them quickly.

If you’re unsure whether something counts as a problem, it’s fine to get in touch — we can talk it through.

Questions You Might Have
